Kirulhiya Maldives is one of the best resorts in maldives located on the picturesque Omadhoo island, located in the centre of Southern Ari (the locals call it Alif Dhaal), about 65 kilometres from Male International Airport and can be reached by either a 1 hour 30 minute scheduled speedboat ride or a 4 hour 30 minute scheduled local ferry. The island takes up about 3 square kilometres and is home to 1,080 people. The eastern and western parts of the island are covered with tropical vegetation such as breadfruit and coconut trees. The island’s western part could be described as a real island jungle due to a rich abundance of huge banyan trees and tropical palms.
